How can you increase computer performance stopping Windows XP Service

You can reduce boot time and release memory, stopping services, or set them so that does not start with Windows. This is causing your PC to be faster. To stop these onyx: Right-click on My Computer> Manage . When Management window opens on the left click on Services and Applications (click on the + sign) and then select Services . Another way to get to the console work is this: Start> Control Panel> Administrative Tools> Services

Services Console shows you the services running (those listed as "Started") and as a service set to start: Automatic (launches every time you boot, whether or not you need it), Manual (do not launch at startup, but Windows could launch the service when the OS needs it) or Disabled (does not launch, even if Windows needs it). Moving from one state to another service is as follows: Double click on the service and choose appropriate to Startup type: Automatic, Manual or Disable, and the Service status according to what we want, if we want to stop the service we press Stop after first Startup type I chose Automatic or Manual, and if we want to stop a particular servitiu we press Stop after first I chose Disable Startup type.
