How do I format a USB stick when it does not let formatted?

Since I recently had problems with a USB stick that did not want to leave formatted by the classical method; My Computer Right click on your stick - Format ... - Quick Format . I had to look for other solutions, today I present to you two of the solutions that have helped
When you format the stick that is formatted in FAT32 format, a solution would be to try formatting it in NTFS format that you will not find in the box File System as a formatting option.
To format to NTFS you must follow these steps:
First, connect the USB stick to the computer. Then right click on My Computer and choose Manage .
Click on Device Manager and expand the Disk Drives . You should see the USB stick listed as "Generic USB 2.0 USB Drive" or something similar (model USB stick). Right click on your USB drive in Disk Drives and choose Properties . Go to the tab Policies and click. Here you have two options. " Optimize for quick removal "is selected by default. Change the settings to " Optimize for performance ". This will enable caching stick to writing and also allows you to format NTFS. Click OK . Go back to My Computer right click on the stick and you'll see the combo-box format that will appear under the NTFS file system option.
stick may not be formatted   If you find it difficult you can use a program that can automatically format the stick in your chosen format (NTFS). The program is called HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool and you can download it here
CAUTION
If a stick in NTFS format when pull the USB stick must be mandatory to use the " Safely Remove Hardware ". In front windows right down, right-click the icon that is your usb stick, and you " Safely Remove Hardware ", select your stick and you" Stop ". If you stick your e formatted NTFS and pull the USB stick without using the " Safely Remove Hardware ", you risk ruining the stick.
If you do not have a headache and you can put and take out the stick you want, then leave it formatted in FAT. The difference in speed between a FAT formatted sticks and one formatted NTFS is insignificant. Except that if you copy files larger than 4 KGB, the FAT can not, then you have NTFS. For that I recommend that after formatting NTFS to FAT format back to This is achieved simply by reformatting style this time the FAT format.
